Primaiy Responsibilities
- Maintain control and technical oversight of all work executed by SGS Mongolia on coal process and inspection of coal /coke
- Be the primary point of contact with clients and with members of the Minerals Services Business Team involved with Energy Minerals Trade
- Ensure that regular technical and management audits are undertaken at all sampling points, sample preparation facilities and laboratories used by SGS Mongolia for coal coke business
- Ensure SGS Group OH&S and Compliance policies are implemented and adhered to
Reporting to
Minerals Manager Mongolia
Specific responsibilities
- Key account manager for local and international trade clients
- Interface with affiliates with respect to export coal business
- Review and QC function for all reports and analytical data on export coal I coke shipments
- Facilitate efficient and safe workflows and procedures
- Train staff on the understanding of and proper use of SGS Minerals Services SOP's
- Support Mongolia exploration coal business and coal process business
- Promote and support High Value Services
- Represent the Company at relevant conferences/exhibitions
- Receive visiting clients and coordinate lab/office tours as needed
Profile
Minimum of 2 years coal sampling or analytical experience within SGS, with a coal company or with a major competitor of SGS
Skills
o Fluent English language would be required o Self driven person who is willing to work with the SGS Management team in Mongolia
